About Us

Art is soul. Art is life. Art is memory. Art is hope.

Ben-Ari Gallery was born from a deep love of Jewish art, heritage, and beauty. Our story begins in Tunis, North Africa, where the Ben-Ari family lived for generations, surrounded by the colors, sounds, and traditions of Jewish life in the Maghreb. The Jewish Quarter, the souks of Tunis, the landscapes of North Africa, and the warmth of family tradition all became part of the artistic spirit that would one day inspire our gallery.

In our family, art was never only decoration. It was a way to remember where we came from, to honor the people who came before us, and to keep Jewish life visible, meaningful, and alive.

That legacy continued in Israel, where my father was born and raised in a young country filled with challenge, sacrifice, and hope. Like many of his generation, he built his life through hard work, discipline, and practical craftsmanship. As a metalworker, he created with his hands, shaping raw materials into useful and beautiful things. Though life did not always leave much room for artistic expression, the love of beauty remained.

When I was a child, I found myself drawn to Jewish art and Judaica. I remember walking in Jerusalem, looking with wonder at the artwork displayed for visitors from all over the world. The images of holy places, great Jewish leaders, biblical scenes, and traditional Jewish life spoke to me deeply. My father quietly encouraged me and told me that one day I too would create such beauty — and perhaps even have my own gallery.

Over time, that dream became my path.

Ben-Ari Gallery is the result of a long journey back to the heritage of my family and my people. Through painting and design, I seek to bring Jewish memory, faith, history, and tradition to life on canvas. Today, from our gallery on the banks of the Hudson River in New York, we create and share artwork that celebrates the beauty and depth of the Jewish experience.

Our collection includes portraits of great figures in Jewish history, scenes of Jerusalem and other holy places, images inspired by Torah, tradition, holidays, and Jewish life, as well as meaningful wall art for homes, synagogues, schools, and communal spaces.

Original paintings are available for purchase, along with high-quality canvas, metallic, and acrylic prints. We also offer brushstroke prints that closely capture the feeling and texture of the original artwork. In addition, our gallery features a unique collection of sukkah decorations, available in a variety of sizes and materials, including fabric, PVC, paper, and laminated prints.

Ben-Ari Gallery is about more than placing beautiful artwork on a wall. It is about connection.

Connection to Jewish memory.
Connection to tradition.
Connection to Jerusalem.
Connection to family, faith, and the shared story of the Jewish people.

Every piece we create is made with the hope that it will bring beauty, meaning, and inspiration into your home.
